Welcome to Rockcliffe Garden

Rockcliffe Garden is an 8 acre garden created over the last 30 years in the heart of the Cotswolds. Rose terraces, herbaceous border, rectangular pond with Cornus contraversa variegata stretching branches across it, lawn leading up to a ha-ha edged with huge pyramids of beech, yew hedged rooms, canals, walled kitchen garden, greenhouses and, above the kitchen garden, a path flanked by Yew birds leading up through the orchard, to a stone dovecot, built in 2001. Walk past the dovecot through a gate into an arboretum planted with trees showing good autumn colour or flowering in the spring. They are underplanted with Tenby Daffodils, Pheasant Eye Narcissi, Star of Bethlehem and Autumn Colchichum.

Rockcliffe Garden featured in the books “Private Gardens of England”, “Secret Gardens of the Cotswolds” and in many magazines including Gardens Illustrated, The English Garden, House & Garden and Country Life.
